MILLWOOD FIRE DISTRICT
2026 BUDGET HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Millwood Fire District shall hold a public hearing to discuss the contents of its proposed budget for 2026. The public hearing will be conducted at the firehouse known as Station #1 located at 100 Millwood Road, Millwood, New York, at 7:00 p.m. on October 22, 2025. A copy of the proposed budget is available at the offices of the Town Clerk of the Town of New Castle and at the office of the Fire District Secretary where it may be inspected by any interested person. In addition, copies of the proposed budget for 2026 will be available at the aforesaid public hearing. All interested persons are invited to attend.

ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE MILLWOOD FIRE DISTRICT
ON DECEMBER 9, 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Annual Election of the Millwood Fire District will take place on December 9, 2025 between the hours of 6 and 9 PM at Station No. 1 located at 100 Millwood Road in the Town of New Castle, for the purpose of electing one Commissioner to a (5) year term commencing January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2030. Only individuals who are registered voters of the town and who have resided in the fire district for a period of 30 days next preceding the election of fire district officers shall be qualified to vote for such officers. Voters registered with the Westchester Board of Elections on or before November 17, 2025 shall be eligible to vote. Candidates for Fire District Office shall have filed their names with the Secretary of the Millwood Fire District no later than November 19, 2025.
